Juggling motherhood alongside a packed routine, the former tennis champion shared how adopting simple yet purposeful lifestyle habits—ranging from her diet to skincare—has significantly enhanced her skin health, hair quality, and overall energy levels.

    Sania Mirza shares insights into her fitness routine

    In a February 6 interaction with Tweak India, Sania Mirza said she now starts her mornings with a wellness routine instead of a heavy breakfast. The former tennis star shared that she begins her day with a homemade health shot made of turmeric, honey, lime, black seeds and ginger, followed by soaked chia seeds in water and coffee, before heading to the gym. Sania also noted that her diet has changed significantly since retirement, explaining that while eggs remain a staple, her carbohydrate intake has reduced. With her current activity levels being far lower than during her playing days, she now prefers a more protein-focused diet over the carb- and protein-heavy meals she once consumed.

    Sania Mirza on Her Skincare Routine

    Sania Mirza also opened up about her detailed skincare regimen, which she says has led to noticeable improvements in her skin and hair. Sharing a light-hearted note, she revealed that she follows an elaborate Korean skincare routine, involving nearly 10 steps both in the morning and at night. Despite the extensive process, the former tennis star emphasised that consistent use of a good moisturiser and sunscreen has made a significant difference to her skin over the years.

    She further highlighted red-light therapy as a key addition to her wellness and skincare routine. Sania shared that she has been using the treatment regularly over the past year, not just to improve her skin but also to support hair health. Spending around 30 minutes under red light every alternate day, she said the practice has helped boost skin rejuvenation and overall vitality. The former athlete added that the therapy has complemented her broader self-care approach, helping her maintain a healthy glow while adapting to a more balanced post-retirement lifestyle.
