During a heated exchange on the economy, President Biden wasted no time in attacking former President Trump, blaming him for inheriting an economy “in freefall” amidst stubborn inflation.

Trump fired back, boasting that he oversaw “the greatest economy in the history of our country,” claiming that other nations were awestruck and emulating America’s economic success.

In a sharp rebuttal, Biden dismissed Trump’s claims, stating, “Well, look, the greatest economy in the world? He’s the only one who thinks that.”

The debate took a personal turn when Biden referenced reports alleging that Trump had disparaged soldiers who died in the Normandy landing as “suckers.” Biden defended his son Beau, a veteran who served in Iraq and later passed away from cancer, asserting, “My son was not a loser, was not a sucker. You’re the sucker. You’re the loser.”
