Today is the 93rd day of the farmers’ protest against the agricultural laws of the central government. There is currently no solution to this deadlock that has been going on for more than three months.
On the one hand, while the farmers are firm on their demands, the government is not ready to back down. Farmers on the Ghazipur, Tikri, and Singh borders are adamant about demanding the withdrawal of agricultural laws. Meanwhile, the United Kisan Morcha has announced to celebrate ‘Yuva Kisan Diwas’ on the completion of 3 months of the movement in Delhi.
Today, on the occasion of the completion of three months of the farmers’ protest, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait has two maha panchayat scheduled in Rajasthan. The first panchayat will be held at 12 noon in Padampur Mandi while the second will start at 2 pm in Ghadasana Mandi. During this time, Gurnam Singh Chadhuni, Rakesh Tikait, Yogendra Yadav, and Joginder Singh Ugranha of the United Front will address the farmers.
Today, farmers will celebrate ‘Youth Farmers’ Day’. Farmers will celebrate ‘Mazdoor Kisan Ekta Divas’ on February 27 on the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad and Ravidas Jayanti. On February 28, an important meeting of farmers’ organizations is going to be held, in which further strategy will be discussed.
