JABALPUR, IN AN incident which rocked Jabalpur on Thursday afternoon, 17-year-old Vibhav Yadav, son of Congress MLA from Bargi (near Jabalpur) Sanjay Yadav, committed suicide with a licensed pistol at his home.
The bullet went straight into his head. Hearing the sound of the bullet, family members ran inside and were shocked to see Vibhav lying in a pool of blood.
They immediately rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The exact reason behind the incident is not yet known. Sources said that a suicide note has been recovered from the spot.
After getting the information, MLA Sanjay Yadav reached the hospital. Besides, Inspector General of Police, Umesh Joga, Superintendent of Police Siddharth Bahuguna along with other senior police officials also reached the hospital.
Huge crowd of Congress workers and supporters of the MLA gathered near the hospital and the house. People were shocked as what happened that Vibhav took such an extreme step.
Police are also finding out reasons behind the inciden. ASP South (Crime) Gopal Prasad Khandel informed that Vibhav Yadav, 17-year-old younger son of MLA Sanjay Yadav, shot himself in the head in the changing room of the house.

He was taken to Bhandari Hospital, where he was declared dead. Khandel informed that police are collecting details of the incident.
It has been reported that Vibhu left a suicide note before taking the extreme step and also texted some messages to his friends.
He was studying psychology and wanted to go abroad for further studies.
Meanwhile, police have lodged a case under relevant sections and are investigating further. Police would take the body for autopsy on Friday morning.
