    St. Anthony’s statue at a church in Chikkaballapur district(Karnataka:), around 65 km from Bengaluru. Vandalized by unidentified attackers on Thursday, police said. The glass windows of the church also broken by the miscreants. 

    A first information report (FIR) registered by Chikkaballapur rural police station. Against unknown persons for vandalizing St Anthony’s statue at the church.

    The complaint stated that a large stone found inside the 150-year-old church where the statue kept.

    The police have initiated an investigation into the matter. 

    It is worth mentioning that the incident of vandalism comes on the day when the Karnataka:. Assembly is debating the anti-conversion bill. 

    The anti-conversion bill tabled by Karnataka law minister JC Madhuswamy, who the bill was first formulated in 206 when the Congress government headed by CM Siddaramaiah.
