And with this, before the pre-vote, there was a commotion in West Burdwan. The BJP released the list of candidates for the four corporation polls on Friday.
Sudip Chowdhury, president of BJP’s in mandal number one constituency, was nominate as a candidate in ward no. 47 of Asansol.
“I wanted to be a candidate in ward no. 42, but I was make to contest in ward no 47,” Sudip Chowdhury said.
Like BJP leader Sudip Chowdhury, four women leaders of the party have also declared rebellion. They also said that the reason for dissatisfaction was that the party did not field a candidate in the by-elections.
Padma Shibir is in a state of discomfort due to the revolt of a section of the party in the face of the pre-poll vote. Trinamool has made fun of BJP in this incident.
West Bengal:According to the BJP
it is not possible to nominate everyone. On the other hand, West Burdwan Trinamool Congress district president Bidhan Upadhyay claimed that many people do not want to be candidates knowing that the BJP’s rate is certain.
BJP’s Asansol organizing district president Dilip Dey said, “Sudip was nominated, if he does not like it, it is his own business, and it is not possible to nominate everyone, what can be done.”
Voting in Asansol Corporation is on January 22 . Results are announced on January 25.
