    Veteran ITBP officer performs awe-inspiring physical feat at 17,500 fee

    A veteran Commandant of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has performed a miraculous task. Underscoring the valour and determination of the officers and men of the military forces guarding India’s borders.

    55-year-old ITBP Commandant Ratan Singh Sonal completes 65 push-ups at one go at 17,500 feet at -30 degrees Celsius temperature in Ladakh.

    It is an extremely difficult task at a height where the extreme lack of oxygen makes it difficult to breathe. Even while at rest and bone-chilling cold which makes it difficult to even move.

    ITBP Commandant Ratan Singh Sonal is from Uttarakhand and has several achievements in mountaineering.
