Russia Ukraine War Live Updates: Days after the fire at the Saki airbase, an ammunition depot exploded in northern Crimea, injuring two people on Tuesday, reported the news agency Associated Press, citing local officials. The blaze and blasts rattled the village of Mayskoye in the Dzhankoi district of Crimea early Tuesday, Russian media reported. The Russian Defense Ministry said a fire erupted at a “site for temporary storage of ammunition of one of the military units.”
In other news, Ukraine can export 3 million tonnes of grain from its ports in September and may in the future be able to export 4 million tonnes from them monthly, Deputy Infrastructure Minister Yuriy Vaskov said on Tuesday. He said Ukraine had received applications for 30 ships to come to Ukraine in the next two weeks to export grain.
