    According to a forecast from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD),Heatwave conditions predicted in several parts of India are likely to experience or severe over the course of the next four days. A portion of Bihar, northeast Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Telangana are among the affected regions.

    Temperature rise in northwest and northeast India

    The IMD predicted a 3-5 degree Celsius increase in maximum temperatures over the next five days in some areas of northwest India.The maximum temperature in northeast India is forecast to be 4-6 degrees Celsius higher than average over the next two days.

    Heatwave conditions in specific regions

    The IMD’s forecast includes a list of the regions expected to experience heat wave conditions. According to the report, there is a significant chance that some places will experience moderate to severe heat waves.

    These include Bihar, where there are isolate pockets of extremely hot weather, as well as isolate heat wave areas in northeastern Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

    According to the weather service, various heat wave conditions will linger in particular areas for a while. From June 4 to June 8, heat wave conditions are anticipate in West Bengal, Sikkim, and northeast Jharkhand.

    The IMD also issues an advisory for hot and uncomfortable conditions on June 4 in Tamil Nadu and Odisha due to high temperatures and humid air. It added that maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal by around 4-6 degrees Celsius over northeast India during the next 2 days.
