Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, was released on June 16 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Fans have flocked to theatres to see the production based on the epic Ramayana. Prabhas plays Raghava, and Kriti Sanon plays Janaki. Lankesh, the antagonist in Adipurush, is played by Saif Ali Khan. Some of those who saw Adipurush on its first day rushed to Twitter to offer their thoughts and opinions. One reviewer even termed it Prabhas’ “best film yet.”
First reactions
The first reactions to the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon film have been positive. One Twitter user was in ‘awe’ of Prabhas, and wrote, “What a performance, goosebumps!” A person also tweeted, “This has to be Prabhas’ best film yet…”
“Fantastic performances from Prabhas and Kriti as Raghava and Janaki,” wrote another, praising the entire Adipurush team. Hanuma, Sugriva, and Lakshmana aid in the conquest of Lanka.Saif is fantastic as Ravana. He is vicious, and no one else can play him. Om Raut deserves praise.”
Another tweeted, “Some frames in the climax are too good. An epic story told in a tremendous way. Main leads’ performances are too good. VFX is partially okay. Hanuman scenes are worth watching on repeat!”

Apart from Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Prabhas as Raghava and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist Ravana, the Om Raut directorial also features Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, Devdatta Nage as Bajrang, Vatsal Sheth as Meghanadha. Sonal Chauhan and Trupti Toradmal are also a part of the cast.
