    Maldives President Asks Indian Troops To Leave Island Nation

    Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu, maintaining his anti-India stance, informed the parliament that the country would not permit any interference in its sovereignty. According to local media reports, an agreement has been reached between New Delhi. Male for the withdrawal of Indian troops from the Maldives by May 10. The shift in foreign policy has been described as “extremely detrimental” by opposition parties. Emphasizing the importance of stability and security in the Indian Ocean for the Maldives.

    Mr Ibrahim’s remarks referred to President Muizzu’s statement
