Snake spotted inside Jabalpur-Mumbai Garib Rath Express, video goes viral

Panic spread on the Jabalpur-Mumbai Garib Rath Express when a snake was found in one of its air-conditioned coaches. A viral video on social media showed the snake coiling around the handle of the train’s upper coach.

As soon as passengers learnt about the snake, panic spread through the train, and they informed railway officials.

The snake was spotted on the upper berth (23) in coach G3 while the train was travelling from Jabalpur to Mumbai. The train staff acted quickly to handle the situation and keep passengers safe.

After the snake was spotted, passengers were moved to another coach. Later, the affected coach was detached and the train was sent back to Jabalpur.

Harshit Srivastava, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Central Railway, said the incident has been noted and will be investigated. He stressed that passenger safety is a top priority, and the railway takes such matters seriously.
