    According to sources from Indiatoday.in, the MSP for wheat, a major Rabi crop, has been raised by Rs 150 per quintal, bringing the new price to Rs 2,425 per quintal, up from Rs 2,275 in the previous season. Wheat, a staple in many regions, especially northern India, will see farmers benefiting from this hike. The government’s goal is to provide wheat growers with better prices, helping them cover input costs and offering some protection against market volatility.

    MSP for mustard raised by Rs 300

    For mustard, the Minimum Support Price has been raised by Rs 300, taking it from Rs 5,650 to Rs 5,950 per quintal. Mustard is widely grown in states like Rajasthan, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh, and is an important oilseed crop for both farmers and consumers. The higher Minimum support price for mustard is expected to provide farmers with better returns and encourage more cultivation of this oilseed, which is crucial for India’s edible oil supply.

    Chana has increased by Rs 210

    Chana has seen an increase in its Minimum support price by Rs 210, bringing the new rate to Rs 5,650 per quintal. It is a key pulse crop in India and is widely consumed across the country. Farmers growing chana, particularly in states like Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, will benefit from the rise in Minimum support price , which is expected to help cover their input costs and provide them with better returns.
