In Srinagar, terrorists attacked a construction site in Gagangir, Ganderbal district, Jammu and Kashmir. Official sources confirmed the attack on Sunday, which killed a doctor and six construction workers. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the attack on non-local laborers, calling it “dastardly and cowardly.” The police and army have cordoned off the area to track the attackers.
“Praying for the full recovery of the injured, as those more seriously wounded are being transferred to SKIMS, Srinagar,” Mr. Abdullah shared on X.

The terrorists targeted a camp housing workers from a private company. Who were engaged in building an under-construction tunnel in the Gund area. Security forces, including the police and army, have cordoned off the area to pursue the attackers.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police posted on X, “Terror incident in Gagangir, Ganderbal. Security forces have cordoned off the area. More details to follow.”
Union minister NItin Gadkari has condemned the “horrific” terror attack. In a post on X, the minister said the “innocent labourers” were engaged in a vital infrastructure project.
“I strongly condemn the horrific terror attack on innocent labourers in Gagangir, Sonamarg, Jammu & Kashmir. Who were engaged in a vital infrastructure project,” Mr Gadkari’s post read.

“I offer my humble tribute to the martyred labourers and extend my deepest condolences to their families during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with the injured for a swift and full recovery,” he added.
