Crowd Enthusiasm and Community Spirit: The Dosa Festival at Vishnuji Ki Rasoi

The event, held at the Vishnuji Ki Rasoi, was nothing short of a dosa spectacle. With three large pans functional simultaneously, Manohar achieved his initial goal of 5,000 dosas within just 12 hours. As the hours ticked, Manohar showed no signs of slowing down, continuing with energy and determination to create what he termed ‘Vikram dosas’, setting his sights on a new target.

Crowds thronged the venue, day and night, eager to taste the dosas and cheer Manohar. Even in the quietest hours past midnight, the enthusiasm of food lovers, whom Manohar fondly calls his “dardis”, never waned. Early on Monday morning, people flocked to Vishnu Ji Ki Rasoi once more to witness the final dosa count, a collective display of community spirit and festive joy. For the entire 24 hours, Manohar barely took a break.

According to the record rules, Manohar was allowed five-minute rest per hour, but he took only three brief pauses, opting instead for a liquid diet to sustain himself through the challenge. “I dedicate this record to my entire team,” said an emotional Manohar.

Community Support and Authentic Ingredients Contribute to Dosa Milestone- Vishnu Manohar

“Achieving this milestone would have been impossible without their steadfast support. This Diwali feels truly special, and I wish everyone a joyful season, hoping that each Diwali brings something new and fulfilling,” he stated.

Manohar’s ambitious project required an impressive 500 kg of batter and 1,000 kg of chutney. The dosas were served on over 5,000 banana leaves, meticulously arranged by Manish Patrikar from Jalgaon, which added an authentic touch to the South Indian delicacy. Throughout this journey, Manohar was supported by a committed team of 25 members from Vishnuji Ki Rasoi and Master Recipes.
