Govt Issues WARNING! Link PAN With Aadhaar Or Face Deactivation

Indian citizens are legally required to have government-approved identification cards, such as Aadhaar and PAN cards, to reside in the country. To address issues like fraud, scams, and immigration concerns, the Government of India continually updates the regulations related to these identification systems. Recently, the government has introduced new rules aimed at significantly curbing fraud and scams.

    What Is The New Rule?

Among the new amendments, there is one particularly important rule that citizens must follow. In the new rules for PAN cards, all the Indian citizens are warned to link their PAN cards to Aadhaar before December 31, 2024. If you fail to link your PAN-Aadhaar, the government will deactivate your PAN Cards. To avoid any complications, PAN card holders must ensure their cards are updated according to the latest guidelines.

The Aadhaar card and PAN card have become crucial documents for Indian citizens. PAN stands for Permanent Account Number, and it is vital for certain transactions. In all the legal and finacial process, PAN card is a recognised document.
