After reclaiming the Oval Office on Monday, President Donald Trump launched the revamped White House website, highlighting the administration’s priorities such as restoring American “safety,” reviving “American values,” and achieving energy dominance and affordability. The homepage prominently displayed a silhouette of Trump alongside the bold message, “America is Back.”
However, what drew the most attention was the absence of the U.S. Constitution page from the newly updated website.
Under former President Joe Biden, the White House website prominently featured the history and significance of the U.S. Constitution, explaining its role as the nation’s guiding framework and detailing the Bill of Rights. This content served as an important resource for educating the public about America’s foundational principles and democratic values.
Trump Administration Revamps White House Website, Omits Constitution Page
However, in the newly revamped White House website under President Donald Trump’s second administration, the page dedicated to the Constitution and Bill of Rights is notably missing. Instead, the updated website emphasizes the administration’s priorities, such as restoring safety, energy dominance, affordability, and traditional American values. The absence of this critical content has drawn public attention and raised questions about its removal.
Biography pages for several former presidents were also unavailable. These included Republicans like Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan and Democrats such as Jimmy Carter, Barack Obama, and Bill Clinton. Instead of the expected content, users encountered “404 error – Page not found” messages. These omissions have raised questions about whether the changes are temporary or reflect a broader shift in the website’s focus.

Users could not access the Spanish-language version of the White House website, as it displayed error messages saying the page was missing.
Following widespread attention on social media, the White House clarified that these issues were unintentional and temporary, urging patience as the new website was still under development.
“It’s only day two. We are actively working on developing, editing, and refining the White House website. As part of this ongoing process, some archived content temporarily went offline. “We are actively working to restore that content in a short timeframe,” said Harrison Fields, the principal deputy press secretary, according to USA Today.
When Trump first assumed the presidency in 2017, his administration removed pages related to LGBTQ+ rights and climate change as part of a broader revamp of the White House website. Subsequently, he implemented a policy barring transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military, a ban introduced in 2018. This policy was later reversed during Joe Biden’s presidency.
