    Team India comfortably defeated England in the third and final ODI of the white-ball series. Having already secured victories in the first two matches, the Men in Blue faced off against England in the series finale at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on February 12.

    In the third ODI, India batted first after losing the toss. The hosts delivered an impressive performance, setting a target of 356 runs for England. Throughout the match, several Indian players delivered standout performances.

    Shreyas Iyer Becomes Fastest Indian to 25 ODI Fifties

    From Shubman Gill’s century to Virat Kohli’s half-century, the match was filled with thrilling moments for fans. One standout moment came from Shreyas Iyer’s impressive knock. Batting in the middle order, Iyer scored 78 runs off 64 balls.

    With this innings, he became the fastest Indian to register 25 scores of 50+ in ODIs, surpassing Virat Kohli and Navjot Singh Sidhu. Notably, Iyer achieved this milestone in just 60 ODI innings, while Kohli took 68 innings to reach the same mark.

    India Dominates England, Seals Series Ahead of Champions Trophy 2025

    India, after putting up a strong total of 356 runs in the first innings, restricted England to 214, securing a commanding 142-run victory. With this win, India sealed the series with their third consecutive ODI triumph over England. These victories could significantly boost their preparations for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled to be held in Pakistan and the UAE. India will begin their campaign against Bangladesh, with both teams set to face off in the tournament’s second match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, February 20.
