A Bihar woman, reportedly in an abusive marriage, left her husband and later marries a loan recovery agent who had been visiting her home to collect money. NDTV reports that the couple had been secretly involved for months before marriage. The outlet reports that Indra Kumari, who married Nakul Sharma in 2022, lived in the Jamui district. Sharma, an alcoholic, was said to have abused his wife physically and emotionally. Frustrated with the mistreatment, she sought to end the marriage.

Couple Marries in West Bengal Before Returning to Jamui
According to the outlet, Kumari met Pawan Kumar Yadav, a loan shark working for a finance company, when he visited her home to collect money. Initially, their relationship was purely professional, but it gradually became a friendship and eventually became love.
At first, the couple kept their relationship private and traveled to Asansol, West Bengal, to spend time together. After staying there for a few days, they returned to Jamui. On February 11, they got married at a temple, with many people in attendance.
The outlet reported that while Yadav’s family accepted the marriage, Kumari’s family opposed it. They filed an FIR against Yadav, but Kumari denied the accusations, stating that she married Yadav of her own free will. It’s also reported that Kumari’s family has threatened her new husband, leading the couple to seek protection from authorities. A video of their wedding went viral on social media, showing the couple participating in the marriage rituals, quickly gaining widespread attention.
