After analyzing scientific literature and incorporating their previous study on pre-meal almonds reducing post-meal blood sugar, Dr. Anoop Misra, Chairman of Fortis CDOC Hospital for Diabetes, and Dr. Seema Gulati of the National Diabetes, Obesity, and Cholesterol Foundation (N-DOC), New Delhi, concluded that strategic pre-meals may offer benefits comparable to sugar-controlling medications.
