Police recovered a suicide note, allegedly written by the man, revealing his struggles with financial problems and health issues. Rajender stated that the bodies were sent for post-mortem, and a case of suspicious deaths was registered. The family, originally from Mukuralla village in Mahabubnagar, had moved to Habsiguda a year ago. The man, a former lecturer at a private college, had been unemployed for six months.

His prolonged joblessness led to severe financial distress, possibly driving the tragic act. In his Telugu-written note, he expressed anguish over his failing career and declining health, stating that no one was responsible. Apologizing, he mentioned battling diabetes, nerve issues, and kidney disease, saying he saw no other way out.
