According to sources cited by The Indian Express, India is likely to appoint Dinesh Patnaik—currently serving as the Ambassador to Spain—as the next High Commissioner to Canada. The official appointment process is expected to commence shortly, signaling a step toward improved India-Canada diplomatic relations.
