Veteran automobile manufacturer Mahindra has been testing its new generation Scorpio for the last 2 years. It has also been spot several times during testing.
The official date of its launch has not been announce yet. But it is believe that the company can present it on August 15, just like Thar and XUV700. Both these cars were introduce by the company on this date.
Mahindra to launch THIS SUV on 2nd October
The company can launch the new Scorpio on October 2. Because the launch date of Thar and XUV700 was also the same. However, no official information has give by the company about this yet.
Mahindra Scorpio will complete 20 years in the Indian market on June 20 next year. There have also been reports that the next generation model can be launch on June 2022.
At present, the testing of the new Mahindra is going on and its spy image is coming out on several occasions in the past. According to media reports, it will get a powerful engine along with better styling, more sharp look and interior equipped with latest features.
The upcoming Scorpio will get a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder mHawk diesel engine, which will be able to generate 155bhp power and 360Nm torque. At the same time, it will also see a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine, which will be able to generate 150bhp power and 300Nm torque.
The upcoming 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will be offer with 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox. There is also news that the new Mahindra Scorpio can be offer in rear wheel drive (RWD) as well as all wheel drive (AWD) option.
