    AAP leader and Delhi’s Minister of Education, Atishi, has written to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, urging him to halt the order transferring around 5,000 government school teachers who have served in the same school for over 10 years. “Arvind Kejriwal’s government will not allow anyone to compromise with our teachers or the education of our students,” Atishi stated in a press conference.

    Cannot order mass shuffling without consulting minister, school, teachers’, says Atishi

    “On July 1, I directed the department to withdraw the order because you cannot mandate such mass reshuffling without the consulting the minister, school, teachers and the students. These are the teachers who have been working to bring a good percentage, due to these teachers, we get a good pass percentage, children clearing JEE, NEET,” Atishi said in a press conference.

    Atishi has written to the Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar to halt the order transferring around 5,000 government school teachers who have served in the same school for over 10 years.
