Jaya Bachchan on Actors in Politics: Film Stars Naturally Draw Crowds, Unlike Politicians
In an interview with India TV, Jaya Bachchan shared her perspective on actors transitioning into politics, saying that actors are human beings with aspirations, and after finding success in films, they may feel the desire to give back to society. She pointed out that when it comes to drawing crowds, a lesser-known politician might struggle to attract even a handful of people. According to Jaya, politicians aim to draw people to listen to them, but first, they need to attract them—and actors naturally excel at that.
