India’s Got Latent Row: B Praak Seeks Ranveer Allahbadia’s Forgiveness

Singer B Praak swiftly reacted to the controversy surrounding YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia after his remark on India’s Got Talent sparked widespread criticism.Initially, B Praak strongly disapproved of Ranveer’s comment, calling it “ghatiya” (low-class) and even withdrawing from a planned appearance on Ranveer’s podcast. This led to speculation about whether he had ever been invited in the first place.

However, in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the singer clarified the situation. He confirmed that discussions about his appearance on the podcast had been ongoing for several months. “I genuinely enjoyed watching his podcasts and was interested in being a guest. Our teams had been coordinating dates for six to seven months, but scheduling conflicts on both sides delayed it,” he explained, putting the rumors to rest.

Although B Praak was initially outspoken in his criticism of Ranveer, he has since taken a more forgiving approach.

B Praak acknowledged that Ranveer’s comment was inappropriate but emphasized the importance of forgiveness when someone is genuinely remorseful. “It was wrong, but if a person sincerely apologizes, they deserve another chance. Sometimes we speak without thinking, but words should never cause harm. Forgiving someone makes you the bigger person,” he stated.

Previously, B Praak had strongly criticized Ranveer’s remark in a video, which gained traction after being shared on Samay Raina’s show.

In the video, he revealed that his scheduled appearance on Ranveer’s podcast had been canceled. “We were supposed to be on BeerBiceps, but we decided to withdraw,” he said.

He further questioned Ranveer’s stance, saying, “You advocate Sanatan Dharma and discuss spirituality. You invite esteemed guests, including saints, yet your mindset reflects such a low level of thinking?”

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the Supreme Court granted Ranveer interim protection from arrest while restricting him from airing any shows until further notice.

The Court also remarked that his actions displayed a “lack of responsibility” and deemed his behavior “condemnable.”
