“I consider myself a realist and do not live in delusion. Delusion acts as a disease without a vaccination. If I had that vaccine, I would give it to several people in this industry because they continue to live in delusion.”
‘I am 80% realistic’
He continued, “We must remain diplomatic. I do not deceive myself. I clearly understand my films and recognize why some succeeded while others did not. I stay 80% realistic, while the remaining 20% comes from aspiration. Sometimes, I struggle to understand these people. I cannot tell whether they lie to themselves or genuinely believe they made a great film when, in reality, they did not.”
