Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale received positive reviews upon its release. However, before the show premiered, Nayanthara faced a legal notice from Dhanush, the producer of the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, demanding Rs 10 crore in compensation. The notice was issued because a 3-second clip from the film appeared in the show’s trailer without permission. In response, Nayanthara addressed the issue publicly through an open letter shared on Instagram, calling out Dhanush.
