Salman Khan installs bulletproof windows at Galaxy Apartment

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has made major renovations to improve security at his Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra eight months after a shooting incident near his home.

According to NDTV, citing sources, the actor’s residence is now equipped with bulletproof windows, an advanced security system, and high-resolution CCTV cameras to monitor any suspicious activity in the vicinity.

Bulletproof Glass was Installed on Salman Khan’s Balcony

Bulletproof glass has been installed to reinforce the balcony where Salman Khan greets his fans. The actor lives in a 1 BHK flat on the ground floor of Galaxy Apartments, while his parents reside on the first floor, the report stated.

On April 14, two men on a motorcycle fired four shots at Salman Khan’s home and then fled. The actor suspects gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was behind the incident, intending to harm him and his family.

Lawrence Bishnoi, currently in jail, has had a long-standing feud with Salman Khan and has issued multiple threats against him. Their rivalry began with the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case, in which Salman Khan was convicted.

The Bishnoi community considers Blackbucks sacred, and Lawrence Bishnoi has pledged to target Salman Khan. The shooting on April 14 marked a significant intensification of the threats made by the Bishnoi gang towards the actor.

The situation intensified in October when former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai. The 66-year-old politician was known for his close ties with Salman Khan.

Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol, a key suspect in the Baba Siddique murder case, has been arrested in the US. In its chargesheet, the Mumbai Police revealed that Siddique’s strong connections with Salman Khan were a major motive for the murder.

Salman Khan had previously received a similar threat when an unknown caller demanded ₹2 crore from him. The Worli police filed a case against the unidentified individual who sent multiple WhatsApp messages to the Mumbai Police’s traffic helpline number.
