    Bharat Mart: India’s Warehouse Complex in the UAE

    India is contemplating the establishment of its own warehouse complex, Bharat Mart, in the UAE. This initiative aims to provide a consolidated platform for exporters to exhibit their varied product range in a single location, akin to China’s ‘Dragon Mart’. Although officials are still deliberating on the specifics of the project, an official has indicated that the facility aims to be operational by 2025. Expected to span over 100,000 square meters, Bharat Mart will function as a versatile facility, encompassing warehouse, retail, and hospitality units.

    Strengthening Bilateral Relations: Talks between UAE President and Indian Prime Minister

    On Tuesday, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi upon his arrival at the airport in Abu Dhabi. Subsequently, the two leaders engaged in both one-on-one discussions and talks involving their respective delegations. During these meetings, they assessed the bilateral partnership, explored avenues for new collaboration, and expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
