Elon Musk Poised to Become World’s First Trillionaire by 2027

Elon Musk is rapidly approaching a groundbreaking financial achievement, with a new forecast from The Academy predicting that he could become the world’s first trillionaire by 2027. “With a current net worth of $195 billion and an annual growth rate of 109.88%, Musk is the leading contender to reach trillionaire status by 2027,” the report states.

Elon Musk is the founder and CEO of the rapidly growing automotive company Tesla, the manufacturer of advanced rockets and spacecraft, SpaceX, and also owns X (formerly Twitter).

Adani and Huang Expected to Follow Musk

In its report, “From Billionaire to Trillionaire,” The Academy predicts that after Elon Musk, India’s Gautam Adani will be the next entrepreneur to reach trillionaire status by 2028. Adani Group, which operates in diverse sectors such as power, ports, defense, and airport management, has positioned Adani for this remarkable financial milestone. With an estimated net worth of $84 billion and an annual growth rate of 122.86%, Adani is expected to follow Musk’s trillionaire journey closely. Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, with a net worth of $77 billion and a growth rate of 111.88%, is also projected to hit trillionaire status by 2028.

The list also includes major global business leaders like Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Steve Ballmer (former Microsoft CEO), Larry Ellison (former Oracle CEO), Jeff Bezos (Amazon founder), Larry Page, and Sergey Brin (Google co-founders). Additionally, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, is estimated to become a trillionaire by 2033.
