    The superstar’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drugs case. The NCB busted a drugs party onboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast and arrested him. The 23-year-old was remanded to the custody of the NCB till October 4.

    The court said, Aryan Khan and the two others – Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant – were arrested on Sunday evening and produced before a special holiday court on Sunday that remanded them to NCB custody till Monday.

    The advocate argued that some of his friends were allowed to leave after no drugs were found on their person. But the NCB took custody of Khan’s cell phone and brought him to the NCB office in Mumbai.

    The accused were produced in court on Monday. NCB had sought custody for Aryan till October 11. NCB had said that ‘shocking, incriminating material’ was found on Aryan’s phone.

    Apart from Aryan Khan, seven others :

    The Narcotics Control Bureau detained eight people after searching a cruise ship on its return to Mumbai on Monday. Two days after a drugs party onboard the vessel was busted off the city coast, an NCB official said.

    Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra — had been arrested on Saturday.

    NCB makes ninth arrest in connection with the drugs seized from the cruise off the Mumbai coast. The arrested person, held in Juhu, is a supplier and drugs of commercial quantity have been seized from him.

    During the questioning of some drug peddlers, NCB officials said, they came to know that some people taking the cruise to Goa will be carrying drugs with them.

    While seeking the custody of Aryan. Dhamecha and Merchant, the NCB said there was evidence to show a nexus between the arrested persons and suppliers and peddlers of drugs and banned narcotic substances regularly.
