In a significant development regarding the high-profile Rs. 25-crore jewelry heist in Delhi, the police have made a major breakthrough today by apprehending three suspects in Chhattisgarh. A team from the Delhi Police, currently operating in Chhattisgarh, successfully detained three individuals, including the prime suspect Lokesh Srivastava, Shiva Chandravanshi, and an unnamed third person. Notably, a substantial amount of gold has been confiscated during the operation. It has also come to light that this criminal group has been involved in similar heists in Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh.

Major Breakthrough in Delhi’s Rs 25-Crore Jewelry Heist
The accused had allegedly broken into a jewellery store in south Delhi’s Jangpura on Thursday and escaped with ornaments worth Rs. 20-25 crore. The incident occurred at Umrao Jewellers in Bhogal area between Sunday evening and Thursday morning.
Thieves entered the terrace of a four-story building next to the store. They reached the ground floor where the strongroom was located, disconnected CCTV cameras, and drilled a hole into the wall to enter the locker.
In addition to the ornaments in the locker, they also escaped with the jewellery kept on display at the showroom.
