Himani Narwal’s Mother Suggests Killer Could Be Either Someone from the Party or a Relative

The Haryana Police have arrested a suspect in the murder of Congress worker Himani Narwal. On Monday, her family demanded the death penalty for the accused.Savita, Himani Narwal’s mother, expressed certainty that the perpetrator was someone familiar, possibly from the party, her college, or even a relative.

She emphasized that only someone known to them could have entered their home. She believes the attacker attempted something inappropriate, and Himani resisted, leading to the tragic incident, as she told ANI.

She did not tolerate anything wrong… I want the death penalty for the accused… No one from the government has contacted us so far,” she added. Himani Narwal’s body was found in a suitcase near Sampla bus stand on the Rohtak-Delhi highway on March 1. Sampla police station SHO Bijendra Singh had told ANI that it seemed the girl was murdered and her body was thrown on the road, and further investigation is being carried out.

Mother claimed ‘election and party’ took Himani’s life: On Sunday, Narwal’s mother had alleged that elections and the party took her daughter’s life. The election and the party took my daughter’s life. Because of this, she made some enemies. These (the culprits) could be from the party, could be her friends as well…On February 28, she was at home,” Savita had said.

She accompanied Rahul Gandhi and had close ties with the Hooda family, which caused problems and provoked jealousy among some people,” she added.

Himani Narwal’s brother, Jatin, told ANI, “The police have arrested one accused, and we will cremate Himani Narwal today. The media is spreading many rumors… We will ensure justice… We still don’t know the identity of the accused, as the police have not provided any information… We demand the death penalty for the culprit.”
