In a shocking incident in UP Hathras district, an 11-year-old boy studying in Class 2 was killed as part of an alleged human sacrifice ritual aimed at bringing prosperity to his school. The police have arrested five individuals, including the school’s owner, director, principal, and two teachers.
The victim, identified as Kritarth, was a student at DL Public School. According to the authorities, the school owner, Jasodhan Singh, who allegedly believes in ‘tantrik’ rituals, instructed his son and the school’s director, Dinesh Baghel, to sacrifice a child for the school’s and their family’s prosperity.
On September 23, the father-son duo, along with three staff members, abducted Kritarth from the school’s hostel and took him to a secluded location for the ritual. Reports indicate that when the boy woke up and began to cry, the accused strangled him to death.
After the incident, the accused informed the child’s parents that their son was being taken to a hospital in Baghel’s car due to his poor health. However, family members intercepted the vehicle mid-route and discovered the tragic truth. They promptly alerted the police, leading to the arrests.
