In Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, a woman allegedly killed her husband, Naushad Ahmad, with the help of her partner in a murder plot. They reportedly stuffed his body into a trolley bag. Naushad, 38, had returned from Dubai, where he worked as a driver, just 10 days before the incident. The woman committed the murder on April 19, and they dumped his body the following morning in a trolley bag on a farm about 55 km from their home in Bhatoli. The murder investigation later revealed a connection to an airport baggage tag, which helped track down the perpetrators.
The police arrested Ahmad’s wife, Razia, 30, on the night of April 20 for the murder, with Ruman, Naushad’s nephew, reportedly helping her. Naushad remains on the run.
Murder Uncovered After Airport Baggage Tag Leads Police to Clues
A farmer spotted the bag in the field, which led to the discovery of the murder. Investigators made a breakthrough when they noticed an airline baggage tag attached to the trolley bag, allowing them to trace the baggage back to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow.

The airline issued the tag during air travel to identify checked-in luggage. It includes a ‘license plate’ number with a 10-digit Bag Tag Issuer Code (BTIC) printed on it, linking the baggage to the passenger. The police used a foreign SIM card and photocopied documents to confirm Naushad’s identity. Following this, the police team visited Naushad’s residence and, after a preliminary investigation, arrested his wife.
