Three Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists were kill in an encounter with security forces in J&K’s Pulwama on Wednesday. According to the details, the gunfight is report from Chandgam area of Pulwama. Commenting on the encounter, IGP Kashmir said one of the slain terrorists is a Pakistani national.
“One of them is a Pakistani national. Incriminating materials, arms & ammunition including 2 M-4 carbines & 1 AK series rifle recovered,” the IGP Kashmir said.
An encounter between security forces and terrorists broke out in the Chandgam area of Pulwama district earlier today.
“Encounter has started at Chandgam area of Pulwama. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” tweeted Kashmir Zone Police on Wednesday.

The security forces said that before killing the three JeM terrorists, they were given several chances to surrender but each time they respond to their appeal with bullets.
One by one, the three terrorists were kill by the security forces. The identity of the slain terrorists are being identify.
A large quantity of weapons has also be recover from the encounter site. The security forces are conducting a search operation in the area due to apprehension about the presence of more terrorists.
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar while confirming the killing of three terrorists said that one of these terrorists was a Pakistani.
Other ammunition including a 2M-4 carbine, an AK-47 and its magazine were recover from the encounter site. The bodies of the three terrorists have been take into custody by the security forces.
During this, two terrorists were killed and a large quantity of weapons was recovered from them.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the encounter started early on Wednesday morning.
The security forces had received information about the presence of terrorists in the area after which the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel reached the spot and laid siege to the area. After this, the security forces started a search operation in the area.
