What information do we have about the survivors?

The survivors, a man, and a woman, were two of the six crew members on the Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 when it skidded off the runway, crashed into a wall, and erupted in flames on Sunday morning. Officials confirmed there were 181 people on board in total.

ABC News reported that the two survivors of the plane crash were being treated in separate hospitals in Seoul on Monday.

One of the survivors received treatment for fractures in his ribs, shoulder blade, and upper spine. Ju Woong, the director of Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital who treated him, shared that the man said he “woke up to find himself rescued.”

The passengers were mainly South Koreans, with two Thai nationals among them.
