The annual Pariksha Pe Charcha event, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks with school kids on strategies to cope with exam stress, will take place on January 27 at Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium, the Ministry of Education said on Tuesday.
This will be the sixth iteration of the event, which initially took place in 2018. Due to the epidemic, Pariksha Pe Charcha was held online in 2021 in a town hall style.
While it is broadcast live on television and social media channels, a small number of students, teachers, and parents are given the opportunity to engage with the PM in real time. They are chosen through an online creative writing contest with topics shared with schools around the country.
“Know your freedom fighters,” “our culture is our pride,” “my startup dream,” “education for skilling,” and “future educational problems” are among the topics picked this time.
“About 38.80 lakh participants (31.24 lakh kids, 5.60 lakh instructors, and 1.95 lakh parents) have enrolled for PPC-2023, compared to approximately 15.7 lakh for PPC-2022. Students from over 150 nations, instructors from 51 countries, and parents from 50 countries have enrolled for PPC-2023, according to the government.
