Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday announced the cancellation of the second phase of Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2021. He said the recruitment examination conducted again.
Gehlot said, “We will cancel the level 2 of REET exam 2021, we will conduct this exam again.”
Last week, the Rajasthan Chief Minister said, “Fixing the responsibility of the Board. The chairman dismiss and the secretary has suspended. The state government will take the strictest action against every person found guilty of malpractices, lapses, and dereliction of duty in the examination.”
The Rajasthan government has suspended several officials so far including RAS, RPS officers, teachers. Education department employees as well as police personnel suspect their involvement in cheating in REET 2021.
Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot earlier said the Rajasthan Police has made several arrests in the matter related to the paper leak of Rajasthan. Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) as the investigation has started.
“After discrepancies and irregularities in Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET). The government has dismissed many officials, implemented stricter norms, and started a probe. A committee in the next 45 days will deliver its recommendations,” said Pilot.
When the irregularities in the conduct of exams had emerged, the state government had suspended one RAS and two RPS . 13 personnel of the education department, and three other policemen.
About 38 people have been arrested in the paper leak case by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan police.
