Renuka Mishra was removed days after the UP police constable recruitment examination was cancelled following allegations of a question paper leak. The Uttar Pradesh government took action on Tuesday by removing Renuka Mishra. the chairperson of the UP Police Recruitment Board, amid allegations of a question paper leak. That led to the cancellation of the recent police constable recruitment examination.
The decision to Removed Mishra comes after the examination
A re-examination will be conducted within six months and UPSRTC buses will ferry candidates to the centres for free. An official statement had said last month. In her place, IPS officer Rajeev Krishna has been appointed to the position. The decision to replace Mishra comes after the examination. Which saw participation from over 48 lakh candidates on February 17 and 18, was nullified.

A re-examination is scheduled to take place within the next six months. The government has announced that UPSRTC buses will provide free transportation for candidates to the examination centers.
