‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ by Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures has successfully conquered the hearts of the general public with its pure musical romantic love narrative and chart-toppingNot just in India, but all across the world, the movie has firmly taken root, which is now playing theatres and gaining positive word-of-mouth, has amassed 125 Cr. Gross globally, making it one of the most lucrative movies of 2023.
Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, has finally returned to the public as a pure love story after a lengthy absence. The film has now been a box-office success as well.
Satyaprem Ki Katha, which had a budget of 65 Cr., without counting marketing and advertising expenses, brought in enormous profits for the filmmakers after the digital satellite rights to the movie were sold for 72 Cr. Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia with Kishor Arora & director Sameer Vidwans won a National Award for their respective feature films.

While that alone covers the budget costs, the superhit album of the film has been a great source of revenue with songs like Aaj Ke Baad, Naseeb Se, Sun Sajni and Gujju Patakha to Le Aaunga, all being chartbusters and favourites on music apps. While the collection from additional revenue streams itself has been profit-making, the box office collection of the film in India has reached 83 Cr. Nett and with overseas added, the gross worldwide collection has come to an overwhelming 125 Cr becoming one of 2023’s highest profit-making films
