    An X user claimed to know a girl who spent a hefty ₹41,265 on tickets for a Diljit Dosanjh concert. The excitement around Diljit’s upcoming India tour was evident, with fans snapping up pre-sale tickets within minutes. Diljit Dosanjh announced that 1 lakh tickets for his Dil-Luminati Tour. Which spans 10 Indian cities from October to December, were sold within 15 minutes of pre-sales. Ticket bookings, opened at noon on Tuesday for HDFC Pixel Credit Card holders. Started at ₹1,499 for the “Silver” area, later increasing to ₹1,999.

    Gold (standing) area tickets priced at ₹3,999 also sold out quickly. The most expensive tickets reached ₹12,999 for Fan Pit Phase II and ₹9,999 for Phase I. People who secured tickets are already re-selling them online at inflated prices. With some resale tickets going for as high as ₹21,000.

    Social media quickly filled with reactions from people either thrilled to have secured Diljit Dosanjh concert tickets or disappointed at missing out. Amid the buzz, an X user, Kanishk Khurana, claimed to know a girl who spent a whopping ₹41,265 on the tickets. He suggested that people should “make better financial decisions,” implying that the amount was excessive for a three-hour concert.

    The post sparked mixed reactions. Some agreed with Khurana, arguing that people could have spent the money more wisely. Others, however, believed that spending on what brings joy is never a waste.X user Siddharth Sharma shared that it took him time to understand that saving and investing alone doesn’t lead to happiness.

    Emphasizing the importance of spending on experiences that bring joy, whether it’s a WC T20 match or a Sonu Nigam concert. Another user, Vaibhav, expressed that if someone can afford it. There’s no harm in buying the tickets, dismissing the negativity around the topic.

    “I don’t really get concerts. I was born and raised in a lower middle class family. I can never buy such expensive tickets,” countered Amar.
