Actor Manoj Bajpayee talks about his journey from ‘characters’ to being the ‘hero’ and how the emergence of OTT has empowered him with the option of choice.
India has seen what a powerful actor Manoj Bajpayee is in films like Gangs of Wasseypur and Aligarh, as well as Satya, Shool, and Rajneeti. In his most recent film, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, which was based on actual events, he plays PC Solanki, a defence attorney who takes on a godman in a rape case. The actor recently discussed his transition from portraying ‘characters’ to now playing the ‘hero’ of his films.
