After Shiv Sena workers ransacked the venue, the Habitat issued a statement on Monday, claiming that they support creative dialogue and merely provide artists with a space to perform.
“The Habitat emphasized the need for constructive conversations over destruction to address disagreements. They stated that they do not support hate or harm in any form and that violence and destruction weaken the very essence of art and dialogue,” the venue said in a post on their Instagram page.
According to a police official cited by news agency PTI, Shiv Sena workers vandalized the hotel’s auditorium after Kamra’s jibe against Shinde went viral on social media.
