Arun Govil, who portrayed the character of Lord Ram in ‘Ramayan’, expressed his thoughts on the Pran Pratistha Mahotsav of Lord Ram during an event in Ayodhya. He stated that the Ram temple in Ayodhya would serve as the ‘Rashtra Mandir’ (National Temple), emphasizing its significance in reviving cultural values that had diminished globally in recent years. According to Arun, the temple would convey a powerful message, reinforcing cultural strength and becoming a heritage recognized worldwide. He highlighted its role as a source of inspiration, the center of faith, a source of pride, and a defining aspect of identity, calling for the adoption of its moral values by all.

Ram Temple Event: Actors Arun Govil and Sunil Lahiri Reflect on Lord Ram’s Consecration
Arun Govil expressed his surprise at the grandeur of Lord Ram’s consecration, considering it the biggest event of his life. He marveled at the widespread devotion and the joyful atmosphere resonating with Lord Ram’s name across the country. Sunil Lahiri, who portrayed Laxman, felt fortunate to attend the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, describing the religious and positive ambiance prevailing in the country. He emphasized that those denying Ram lack an understanding of his essence, as revealed in the Ramayana, where God is portrayed as Maryada Purushottam, emphasizing the value of living with dignity.

Sunil Lahiri added, “Those who have been denying Ram, they do not know what Ram is unless someone reads Ramayana. God is Maryada Purushottam, Ramayana also teaches us that we should live with dignity, this teaching is not known to those who deny Ram.”
Deepika Chikhalia, who portrayed Goddess Sita, believed that their characters had left a lasting impression on people’s hearts. She expressed confidence that even after the construction of the Ram temple, the love for Ramayana’s characters would endure.
The album “Hamare Ram Aayenge,” featuring the voices of Sonu Nigam, was filmed at Guptar Ghat, Hanumangarhi, and Lata Chowk. Arun Govil, Sunil Lahiri, and Deepika Chikhalia were also set to attend the Pran Pratistha ceremony.
