For those unaware, recent reports have been circulating online claiming that Dhanashree asked for ₹60 crore in alimony from Yuzvendra.

Dhanashree Verma’s Lawyer Denies Finalized Divorce

Contrary to widespread reports, Dhanashree Verma’s lawyer denied that she and Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal have finalized their divorce. “I have no comments on the proceedings, as the matter is still sub judice. “The media should verify facts before reporting, as many are spreading incorrect information,” Dhanashree’s lawyer, Aditi Mohan, said in a statement to the press on Friday afternoon. For those unaware, a few days ago, rumors about the final hearing in Chahal and Verma’s ongoing divorce filled the internet. They married in December 2020 and have now reportedly finalized their divorce.

Reports indicate that the final hearing occurred on Thursday at the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai. The judge directed the estranged couple to attend a counseling session, after which both Yuzvendra and Dhanashree informed the judge that they were seeking a divorce by mutual consent. They reportedly stated that they had been living apart for the past 18 months and cited “compatibility issues” as the main reason for their divorce.
