The participants in the two-day Chintan Shivir inaugurated by a Union Minister.

Dr. Mandaviya said at the opening session of the two-day “Chintan Shivir” on “Drugs: Quality Regulations & Enforcement” held at Kanha Shanti Vanam here on Sunday. “Such regulation is possible only when the Central and State agencies work in a spirit of cooperative federalism, build on the strengths of one another, and work jointly to remove loopholes in the regulatory systems.”
He urged everyone involved to strive tirelessly to make India’s drug regulation system one of the greatest in the world. And one that other nations may follow. The top aim, he said, should be to win over customers’ trust in drugs made in India.

“The Chintan Shivir is a platform for all stakeholders in the pharma. And health sectors to deliberate on pathways for cohesive. Synergistic approaches for building robust and resilient regulatory systems,” he said underling the focus of the deliberative forum.

That the medications produced in the nation and consumed by local and foreign customers are of the highest quality. And follow accepted worldwide manufacturing standards. “This will ensure India’s fame as ‘Pharmacy of the World’ is upheld. And provide pharma products of the highest quality to consumers,” the Union Minister said.
Throughout the two days of collaborative brainstorming, the Union Minister urged. The participants to contribute their expertise and field-level insights to the talks.

Drug Regulators from various States/UTs were also part of the brainstorming conclave.
The two-day meeting also includes senior officials and representatives from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. NITI Aayog, NPPA, DGHS, ICMR, NIPERs, and Central Drug Labs.
