The second phase of coronavirus vaccination has commenced in the final and decisive battle against the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
On the first day of this phase, Prime Minister Narendra Modi got the coronavirus vaccine this morning. PM Modi went to AIIMS in Delhi and took the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. According to the information, Prime Minister Narendra has taken the first dose of Bharat Biotech vaccine ‘Covaxine’.
After installing the coronavirus vaccine, PM Modi has appealed to the people, who are elected at this stage, to get the vaccine.
“Took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS. Remarkable how our doctors and scientists have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19. I appeal to all those who are eligible to take the vaccine. Together, let us make India COVID-19 free,” PM Modi tweeted.
The second phase of the coronavirus vaccination has started in the country from today. This phase will include all citizens above 60 years of age and those in the age group of 45 to 59 years who are suffering from a serious illness.
Government hospitals, as well as private hospitals, are participating in this campaign. This will be the first time that private hospitals will also get corona vaccinated.
