Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame hasn’t been in the limelight of late. She has neither been active on social media nor has she been spotted out and about by the paparazzi. She has also not announced any new projects in the last few months. All of these events led to the speculations that the actress has retired from acting.
On Thursday, social media flooded with the rumours that the Beauty and The Beast actress has bid adieu to her acting career. Not only social media, but some renowned publications also published articles saying that the actor is no more to be seen in Hollywood now.
Following the extensive coverage that the rumours gained, Emma’s manager Jason Weinberg took it up to him to clear the air. In a statement, he said, “Emma’s social media accounts are dormant but her career isn’t.”
The actress’ name trended on social media after the rumours of her retirement from the film industry surfaced on the internet. A report in Daily Mail on Sunday had claimed that the actor had gone dormant and is quitting her acting career to settle with boyfriend Leo Robinton.
Emma and Leo have been rumoured to be dating for eighteen months. The pair is yet to make their relationship official. The rumours of their relationship were confirmed when a picture of Leo kissing Emma went viral on social media following which he even deleted his Instagram account.
